Crooked ways
I know some of you want to see me do more story telling. Well to be honest, I am kind of in a crisis of faith with that. I no longer know that is what I want to do with myself. But what else is there? I don't know, but I feel I have to see if I can get to a nice middle ground with that. I do love sequential story telling. But I have to discover a better way for me to get into it. But I will see what I can do. No promises though.

You should never feel that you HAVE to do something just because someone else wants you to do it. Discovering what kind of artistic choices that you want to make needs to come from yu and where your passion lies. That being said, sequential storytelling willl always be a part of that process and its a good tool to keep sharpened, as the less you do something the poorer your skill with that tool becomes.
I'd also like to see you post a bunch of quick five minute sketches, as I am always impeesed by how much you can convey in such a short amount of time.
You have rekindled your creativity posting on this blog, I just want to see you follow through withwhatever makes you happy (artistically I mean, not in a gay way you know)
Look I don't know who this "gerrad!" is, or who they think they are... But let me tell you a little something Toro: YOU MUST DO EVERY LITTLE THING I TELL YOU TO! YOU MAY NOT REMEMBER THE NIGHT YOU SOLD ME YOUR SOUL, BUT I STILL HAVE THE SCRAP OF PAPER WE SIGNED THE DEAL ON. NOW GET WITH THE... The.. the... uh.. What was it? Oh yeah, get more paper jerky! Anyways, I think what you've been doing here is awesome. And I think a lot, and I mean A LOT, of the drawings you've already shown us here have a strong narrative quality to them. Maybe you could just try supplimenting some of them with words. Just like 10 words or something. "Greg couldn't remember how his hand found it's way to the gun, but now that it was out he had to see this operation through." Ok so 25 words. But you get the idea. Anyways, kudos to you for working as hard as you do. I look forward to seeing more.
Oh yeah and check these people out, they do some really cool stuff: A Softer World.
